The Arnott AS-3361 is a completely remanufactured OE air suspension strut for the rear left of the 2014–2020 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222) and Maybach with AIRMATIC, with or without 4MATIC, excluding AMG. The strut is inspected, steam cleaned and media blasted to bare metal, and the damper is recharged with new high-performance shock oil. It has a new multi-ply rubber air sleeve from Continental ContiTech and is pre-assembled for easy installation.

How is the strut remanufactured?
Worn components such as the piston, rod guides and seal pack are replaced, the damper is recharged with new high-performance shock oil and the strut is painted with corrosion resistant paint. The damper and coil are dyno and functionally tested. Arnott states that the struts should be replaced in pairs.
